Question '72 GMC Grill ?

I'll be getting my '72 GMC grill Rechromed and was wondering what type of fasteners do I use to reattach the top bar to the bottom part of the grill? Thank you

When I did mine I used stainless steel machine screws and nuts

What about a pop rivet? It may look a little cleaner than a screw.
