Wood Bed Kits
Everyone knows that replacing the wood in your bed is a big pain and the bed kits are expensive anywhere from 450-600 for a longbed fleetside does anyone have any alternatives? any pics of what you did instead or what you plan to do thanks!

Re: Wood Bed Kits
I always check Classic Parts first. They don't have the inventory that LMC has, but they have a way-cooler showroom!

Re: Wood Bed Kits
I'm just finishing up a new bed out of Trex-type plastic-wood decking.
Mine is tubbed, so its kind of a weird shaped 3-piece bed and regular wood kits just didn't work. Its bolted in using mostly stock bed supports, but in the middle and back it had a square tube subframe that lets me have a door for the fuel tank and the area where the battery will be relocated to. This is with the front layed out and bolted in, and the third pic is part of the rear deck. The center board is the fuel door, the right two are the battery compartment. Its not finished though, its getting trim strips between the boards, and the whole thing is being rhin0-lined giving it an interesting look.

Re: Wood Bed Kits
Here is my final layout with everything bolted down and the trim strips in. Just need to get it ALL rhino-lined or linexed.
