Modern 8 bolt alloy wheels
For those of you who have used modern 8 bolt alloy wheels on a old classic, I would like to know how you handled the lug nut change. The modern 99-2007 alloy wheels and center caps I belive have Metric lugs and nuts. My old 78 C20 does not. I have seen many of you use the newer wheels and centercaps that attach to the lug nuts. how did you do that? I have a nice set of 2500 HD 8 bolt alloy wheels that fit my 78 reel well. But the lug nuts do not. and there for the center caps will not. PR

Re: Modern 8 bolt alloy wheels
Thanks, for the link! I read the thread, and ordered some on e-bay. Man, I love the internet. In the old days I would still be looking threw the yellow pages calling garages and shops. PR
