Honestly still not sure, Prolly leave it stock for now.. Considering its a 2wd I might just end up going for a lowish rider, then later on maybe get a 4x4.

Re: The Scary Truck

Welp ran to town today to pickup some parts that I ordered from O'rielly's, they sent them back because we didn't pick them up within a week. So we ordered them again, should be here tomorrow..

But on a positive note, I finally convinced my dad to let me try and get a 350 that has been in our barn since the mid 90's running.. Should be fun. He said when he bought it the only thing wrong was the starter bolts were stripped. Time to start saving money again I might just play around with it a little and see how it goes, probably will just stock pile some cash so I can send it to a shop.. Things are finally starting to heat up

Re: The Scary Truck

Its been a few weeks, got my drop shackles installed, notched the bed support rail in the way half way on one side so that way there would still be some support, but the shackles still hit it. So looks like we'll have to cut the whole thing. But of course the cutting torch ran out of oxygen... Might try and use a sawz-all..

Here's some pics, i measured and the truck only sits about an inch or so lower than stock on the passenger side because the shackles can't move and on the driver side sits a good 1.5 inches higher than stock.. Also installing some stuff I got for christmas

That Rake!
