As far as dealer claims... Like a recruiter they would say about anything to close a deal. Ever notice how many dealers have "special editon" vehicles that are usually nothing more than a badge set, maybe a stripe and a healthy addendum to the sticker along with paint sealant?

Don't think they are coming. The truck appears to be more gold than ochre and the "Deluxe" emblem is present. As the interior was this gold color and has been repainted the special paint is probably an earlier gold/white scheme. If I remember correctly GM would go back 7 MY in colors for a cheap and easy special paint request. If anyone is interested it is currently on CL.
