I still have some of the desirable items left like the Tach gauge cluster.. a/c heater control panel...cab....doors... hood.....chevy emblem from grill...a/c core support...full set of 15x8 Rally wheels...new bench seat....all the glass...new brake booster and M/C....power steering box/pump....ETC.....

Pete,

Take some comfort in knowing it was a conversion from 2wd, not factory K20.

The way I read the story it started life as a real K20 - hence pics w 8 lug wheels and spicer hubs - then it underwent a frame/axle swap - then it was parted.

To clarify - not my truck and I should have stated this. Wish it was my truck when it was intact LOL!

i sort of feel bad about making the "parts" truck i bought into anything but a running project for the simple fact that there are so few K20s out there. i suppose time will tell what i do.

i wish i could have snagged that bed!

That guy's post is unclear as heck. But what shocks me is how these guys on Pirate who do all kinds of serious and challenging fabrication/modification talk like a frame swap was such a huge project to make it more worth parting out. What a joke!

that was my first thought too. a few bolts a few drivetrain connections and some wiring. easy as pie. i would have loved to have the body and i have a spare k20 frame/running gear with original engine. i would have done the body swap in my driveway without much complaint.
