Part search help
Hi all, I am working on a 81 silverado 305. I was looking for a oil pressure switch that controls electric choke. My question is, Is that part available or is it reproduced?

This might help from NAPA's website. I lookedit up for an '81 C10 with a 5.0L/305c.i.d. engine.
It's located just under the distributor and to the D/S at the back of the block sometimes screwed straight into the block or with the use of a 45* - 90* elbow. Re: Part search help
You can bypass that switch if you prefer. Just be aware that the choke will be heated from the moment you turn the key on. If you tend to not have your key on when the engine is not running it shouldn't be an issue in cold weather.
