Steering box?

Without removing the steering box is there a way to determine the shaft size and spline count.It has a casting # 7802644.Its in a 69 c10 but sure its not orginal.Thanks.

Not been out much lately,that time of year.I was hoping the casting # would offer specs on the box.It will turn up,there is some very resourceful members on here.
