Cool you are in Farmington! That is very close to my home town of Cortez! My parents still live there and we end up in Farmington ever time I go to Cortez

Lol. Not many people know where Farmington is at. When I was with Fleetpeide I would travel to Cortez once a week. I still have some buddies in that area. A few of them work at Cortez diesel. Every now and the we get a cool old square on cl. Do you ever bring your square to the area?

Re: Extended cab on local cl
My truck was actually built in Cortez. My dad's shop is right by the Burger King. We ordered all of my Cummins parts from Cortez Diesel. My dad knows the sales guy there. My grandad had Perry McDonald Construction up until 1983 when the sold out to Atchison. It was an oilfield company the built the locations for the oil dereks through the four corners area. With any luck my truck will be up there in a month or so as it will be painted at the Keetch GM dealership. My dad went to autobody school with the bodyshop maneger in 1970. They have one of the best paint booths in the area.

Re: Extended cab on local cl
After I left Fleetpride I worked for Cummins Rocky Mountain(2006-2011), so depending on the year the truck was built they probably ordered the parts through me. If you need any help with that Cummins give me a yell I can still get on Cummins Quickserve page and get part and service info.

Re: Extended cab on local cl
Thanks! I really appreciate it! I am pretty sure it was fleetpride that shortened my driveshaft. The truck was built 5-6 years ago

Re: Extended cab on local cl
When I left Fleetpride there was me and one other guy doing the driveline work. After it was shortened was the driveline painted? If so flat black was Mike. Gloss black was me. The other way to tell our work apart was the weights. I would use a weight that the center was to be welded in and Mike preferred a round wait that took three smaller tack welds. When I was at Cummins, Cortez diesel was one of our bigger vendors. I mainly dealt with Jarvice, Jim, and Gary.

Re: Extended cab on local cl
I will have to look at the driveshaft but I think it is gloss black. My dad is good friends with Jim Bridgewater at Cortez Diesel.

Right on, Jim is a good guy. My father In law works at inland kw so he still works with Jim a lot. Jarvice moved to Grand Junction so I don't see or talk to him as much.

Re: Extended cab on local cl
I may hit you up for the a/c parts schematic for a f600 with a 5.9. That is the a/c bracket K am usjng on my truck. It was actually purchased from Cortez diesel. I need to buy the other parts. I plan on just getting the correct compressor and putting the + rib clutch on it. That extra cab is really cool. Wish I needed another truck. We actually had one of those show up at the wrecking yard here and my father in law owned on that was a dually
