Funny you say that. I thought I was going to freshen up my 454 but I called Scat this morning. I can get a 496 rotator for about $1,200. Can't imagine the torque. There IS something cool about saying 427. That's because is was the sheet back in the day. Sumpin kinda kool about "496" too! ;o)

Hmmm, $1,200 hey for a 496 kit, like my 454 with 525hp now, but getting used to it already and only have about 500 miles on it, will get a bit more as it loosens up but do like the sound of a 496 compared to a 454. WAY to many ideas here sometimes.
