Oil Pan Gasket Differences.

Pulled the oil pan on my 350, block is a 72. the new oil pan gasket and old on dont matchm but the one i had ordered is for the 72 block. it doesnt match, the old one has almost a large cutout just after the oil filter where the block is wider. Im not 100% sure how to explain it, but i hope someoen has run into this. thanx

No problem. You could have also gone the route of ordering a new oil pan to match the gasket you had
