Yep that is what it is. S engine code is 454 in 77. Also 6050 GVWR is a big ten. Is the spid sticker in the glovebox? It would have all of the codes on it.

no the stickers not there.it was donated to a charity after sitting since 2009.i did the bosy work and had it painted.i new it was special when i saw no cats or smog pump cali legal.how rare is it?

I have a short bed 1978 C-10 with a 454 (Big 10). I've only seen one other 78. My cousin had a 77 Big 10 like yours. Not very common from what I've seen or heard.

Fairly rare. Probably $5000 rare. Not $9000 rare.
