How to install Sanderson Shorty Headers? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I won a set of Sanderson Shorty Headers on ebay that came off of a 1984 Chevy Silverado with the 305 like mine. How hard is it to install these on my 84 with 305, air, power steering. The truck it came off of also had air, power steering. But headers was on truck when he got it. Is there any thing special I will have to do to get these to work? Appreciate any help.

Stock manifolds on it now.

Your current exhaust tubing will have to me modified and flanged

How do you do that? Do I have to take it somewhere to have that done? As you can see, I am no mechanic. The truck at the moment is at the body shop. I really appreciate your help on this. Then when I get the truck back I will having dual exhaust installed and the headers to help a little more mpg.

Yah take it to an exhaust shop with your headers and exhaust kit and the should take care of you
