Chevy 4x4 ball joints HELP
1986 chevy K-10 4x4
Bougt truck a few weeks ago i took it to get front end alinement while in the they said the ball joints needed to be replaced. While changing the ball joints he found a hair line crack in the knockle part of the spindle. He said he was going to use a ball joint problem slover to fix it . What is a ball joint problem slover and how will that fix the knockle ??? Posted via Mobile Device |

umm the only thing i no of is some guys drill and tap them and then plug them grind them flush if need but that is just in a pinch. i would swap the knuckle

we are having a hard time finding a knuckle tried a few junkyards with no luck

dang...I think I threw a set of knuckles away a month ago, I will double check tonight when I get home
become a member on www.coloradok5.com, those guys swap out the 6 lug axles all the time for 8 lugs and sell the parts for the 6 luggers dirt cheap...probably get a set shipped for $50 from them
