Prop valve question

I bought a new proportioning valve for my front disc conversion(4wd) and on the front there is a spot where it looks like a bleeder valve should go. Is there a special bleeder valve or regular one, or is it just a plug type thing that goes in there. I don't have a picture handy for you guys, but while it's installed it's the side facing the front of the pickup.

Thanks,

Kevin

What brand is it? Fixed or adjustable?

Re: Prop valve question

I got it from Mikes bump and grind. Not sure if its fixed or adjustable. It's just the regular bronze one for disc/drum application

Re: Prop valve question

Sorry but initally I thought you were converting to 4 wheel disc brakes that is why there was a question about it being adjustable.

Tried to find something online for Mike's but not having good luck. Does he have a web site??? For a factory type change over you might want to look at Inline tubes products. They have the 71-72 prop valve along with a kit including the lines to the master and the prop. valve bracket.

Re: Prop valve question

Yea they used to have a website, he is a member on here. I searched for posts and it looks like they moved locations. I sent him a PM asking about it. I was going to do inline tube, but this was cheaper. I may have to do that anyway. This is exactly what the prop valve that I got looks like. The hole that i'm looking to fill is the one on the front that is angled(above the black piece).

Re: Prop valve question

That would appear to bed a GM car application. Any response to your PM?

Re: Prop valve question

I noticed that on inline tube's website. I can't recall what it was on mbg's, but I wouldn't have bought it if it said just for cars lol. No response yet. Thanks for the help so far. If I can't get it figured out this weekend I think I have an older one sitting on a parts truck some where I can make work.
