72 gmc cab on 73 4x4 frame
Anyone do this sort of swap? I have a 72 gmc 1 ton 2wd long box stepside and a 1973 shortbox stepside 4x4 with 1 Ton axles , 11" suspension lift and 44" boggers. Cab is shot on the 73 and frame shot on the 72

Also have a short box stepside from a 1972 Cheyenne 10 I plan on using with the cab. Full body restore is planned and no fuel tanks as its going on propane.

Should look good when it's done, rather lifted then lowered. Canada is unforgiving with slammed trucks and cars

i thought about doing this, then thought it would be easier to use the srping mounts from the 73 frame onto the 72 frame, but i got lucky and got a 70 4x4 frame. It can be done custom cab mounts, won't sit down low on the frame.
