What is the best year 1955 to 1959?

I favor the single headlight trucks and have had a 57 Panel in the past but now days I would have to say if you are hunting a project it's the best truck you can get for the money rather than just headlight count preference. As someone said above you can swap noses around and in the late 70's and early 80's that was done quite a bit as guys at that time usually wanted the 55/56 nose but found later trucks to build.

I'd have to say 55 -57 since I have a 57 with 56 fenders and a 55 grill!

I have 59 chevy apache, but I think the 55`s are the best year.
