Re: surplus wiper motors
Pretty interesting. Does anyone know the sweep of the original AD wipers? My truck didnt have any wiper setup when purchased.
Or i guess it would be the sweep of the vacuum motor at the linkage.

Re: surplus wiper motors
They claim the sweep on these motors are adjustable. I think I'm gonna bite.

Re: surplus wiper motors
andy, which one? Im thinking the 38001-02 because it claims adjustable self park. The "R" version says reverse park, whatever that is.

Re: surplus wiper motors
Park is when you turn the switch off and the motor keeps going untill the wiper stops at the side. so my guess is it stops the oppisite side of the others.

Re: surplus wiper motors
I don't think you want the reverse park. It's for use on cars wher the wipers park down below the hood line. The motor reverses to park the wipers.

Re: surplus wiper motors
They have them on Ebay with a good description.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-VOLT-DC-M...-/271032374406 30 bucks + shipping = not bad. They are for a marine (boat) application and Marinco has a good reputation in the boat world. |

Re: surplus wiper motors
It's the same surplus company, just their Ebay store. I usually check out Ebay sellers to see if they have a walk in store or a regular website before I buy as I feel it makes for a more reliable seller than the guy selling parts out of his back bedroom. Same price either way in this case.
