Rear Sway Bar for '66 GMC
Two or three years ago I ordered a rear sway bar for leaf springs for my 1966 GMC from one of the usual venders. The bar that arrived was from Hellwig, but I had to send it back because I couldn’t get it to fit. I forget exactly what the problem was, either the asymmetrical differential, or shock mount location, or something to do with the Dana 44 axle.
Has anyone else installed a rear sway bar on a leaf spring GMC with the Dana 44 axle? If so, what brand/vender did you use? Did it go on OK, or were there issues? Did it make a difference, or not much worth the effort/price? Thanks Edit: Mods, would it be better to move this to the 60-66 Section? |

What about this?
http://www.performanceonline.com/196...BAR-KIT-16840/ POL has them for coil spring trucks and leaf spring trucks.
