Steering Wheel options

I am getting ready to buy a steering wheel. I have the chrome tilt steering column and would like some suggestions on what to buy and pictures of what you have found to work.

Thanks !

Re: Steering Wheel options

For the most part, I have an immense dislike for aftermarket wheels. Probably because of battles with cheesy Grant horn button kits. My first choice is a '69 Camaro comfort grip wheel for just about any vehicle. I have one in my '69 Camaro, my '69 short bed, my '79 CJ5 and I used to have one on my '70 GMC that I sold. I have another one in the box for my '68 convertible. Reproduction kit is complete for $199 from Muscle Factory get a 64-68 kit if you have a stock diameter column. Newer vehicles with locking column use the '69 and newer kit. And it uses all GM horn parts and has a super nice Bowtie center cap.

My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

Re: Steering Wheel options

Yep, pretty good collection of photo's of steering wheels on there. I currently have a Grant on mine right now. But I am going to buy for these guys http://fssteeringwheels.com/

I can swap between my my grant and one of these. Plus, you can buy any of the steering wheel wraps and change them out. One of the big sellers for me is the fact they have a GMC horn button with the kit. Can't find them anywhere else. Plenty of option out there though. Have fun choosing.
