Underbed Fuel Tank Install

I have seen this discussed many times but have never seen a resolve on a tank hanging below the bottom bumper line. I have found many threads showing the tank installs from a camaro or the Truck Shop but all seem to Lower than what I desire. Help Needed.

Re: Underbed Fuel Tank Install

There are a few ways that you can do it, it all really depends on what you want the finished product to look like. If you don't like the way the camaro tank looks, you could always take a look at installing a Blazer tank, or just install a fuel cell.

68 Mustang tanks fit really good. Use the mustang sender for pickup tube and install a GM sender on top of tank for guage. I'll try to post some pics

Re: Underbed Fuel Tank Install

This truck's fuel tank was relocated to under-the-bed using a Blazer tank. As you can see in the picture, this tank tucks fairly well up under the bed and hardly shows below the license plate.
