New guy from Oregon
Hey everybody,
My name is Cameron. My Dad and I have been going to car shows since I was old enough to walk. I am now 26 years old and have a 4 year old of my own. I want nothing more than to have a classic truck for us to enjoy together. He already told me he is going to be the "candy thrower" at the cruises. I am now in the position to look for a truck for us. I am thinking anything in the 49-72 range so I have a lot of research to do. I can't believe how many beautiful trucks there are on this forum! I look forward to learning and being a sponge for information. Maybe even meet some of you Oregon members some day! I reside in Eugene, and travel to Bend a few times a year. Most recently for the Festival of Cars show. Thanks, Cameron |

Welcome from Central Florida! Take your time and look at lots of trucks, the biggest mistake folks make with these is they get in a hurry and end up over their heads. Good luck. Lots of good people here willing to help.

Re: New guy from Oregon
Thanks for the warm welcome!
I plan to buy something that has been restored. I ride a desk at work so taking on a ground up restoration in my garage is above my pay grade, per say. It would take me FOREVER to finish. Plus I'm just in too big of a hurry to enjoy the ride. I want to be cruising a country road on a dry Fall day listening to Fats Domino on the radio. Can't wait. |
