Deluxe Cab trim on 58
Hello All, I recently procured a restored 58 short step and I need to install the deluxe trim on the doors and cab. The truck has not yet been delivered to me, but the deluxe trim was original and the holes are already in the cab. Is it a pain to install these trim pieces?

If you have the clips should be easy, tape the body off if its painted. Those holes will leak so I have heard of guys using silicon on the back of the clips and letting it set before installing the trim.

Re: Deluxe Cab trim on 58
Polish Custom Cab Trim first, use lots of blue painter tape around doors & cab, clean clip holes, w a helper line up clips & gaps one piece at a time, start at one end push clips lightly w two fingers til you reach the other end, & tighten nuts on door trim.
