What goes right here? Or is this something one of the PO installed then took out?

Nothing there oem. PO probably had a switch for fog lights, etc

Seems to be a favorite place for people to drill holes. One of my trucks has a hole there that I will be welding shut and I think my other truck had one too that I did repair years ago. I've seen many in junkyards with this too.

Mine had a washer fluid pump switch the PO mounted there.

It looks like a old horn button u buy at a auto store maybe. Black with chrome trim.

Check these out... I could never figure out what they were for! I ended up cutting out my entire dash and replacing it with an unmolested AC dash.

Was this truck a 69, and were there any other extra holes found anywhere else specifically in the frame rail areas? You may kick yourself, but this may be the remaining missing one of three factory produced Vince Piggins Copo 9561/ZL1 all-aluminum 427 BBC motor factory lightened race trucks. Mel
