86 C10 305 cam recomendations?

upon pulling the stock 305 out of my 86 C10, and disassembling it. i found i need a new cam and lifters. does anyone know of a good cam for my combination?

dead stock 305, ESC and AIR systems removed, carb will either be replaced with an Edelbrock 1904 or a rebuild QJet of some kind. stock 700R4, and it will get the 3.08 12 bolt out of my 82. i plan on using this truck as a daily driver, so milage is a concern, and i want it to run on 87 octane.

if you need any more information, let me know.

yeah i was just gonna suggest a summit cam, you get cam and lifter set for good price. i bought one to put in my 383 but aint got it put together yet. I know quite a few people who run them at the dirt track and have no complaints about them.

Talking Cam

Hey 1FastC10, Don't know the specs but I put a Crane fireball 2 cam in a 305 with a Unilite, performer rpm, Q-jet, headers, poly locks, 4-speed saginaw. Very impressive was the torque and power. Still nowhere near the top end of a 350.

i decided to go SUPER cheap. my cam turned out to be ok, despite looking toasted. im going to install a new set of lifters on teh stock cam and call it good. that is, until i can build a 350 to put in it for some real fun.
