Re: Crazy farm truck

502 w/ nitrous, has 4.88 gears Ford 9", TH400 trans.
Whats crazy is, he ran a TH350 for a long time, switched to the TH400 last year, just because.....
He told me, approx Sept 2010 his best pass at that time was 10.13 (w/ nitrous, of course). The air at the local track (Noble, Okla) was excellent that eve., and after the bracket racing was finished that evening, he was going to try for the 9's...He did not get there...

5,000 pounds (probably more, I will ask him, next opportunity, now I'm wondering ) would be a challenge to run anywhere in the 10's.....

The first time I saw him run (he runs a Pro Street 12.00 bracket, next faster bracket is 10.00) he was putting some guys late model mustang to shame, laughed my ass off...

Theres tons of videos on the internet of his passes...

I couldn't believe it either...I was talking to his girlfriend, she's driven it once (on the street) after it changed lanes on her, she had NO future interest in getting behind the wheel

What's so hard to believe about that?

TH400s are power hogs.

Re: Crazy farm truck

TH400 is a poor man lenco when it comes to horsepower/weight in my opinion!!! I ran through several th350 before swapping to my th400.
