I'd love to have it.
I wonder why it has these hubcaps? Must be just personal preference.

It's nice, absolutely but I wouldn't give $20,000 for it. Just me..

There are more people with money than there are old survivor trucks. If I was rich,...

Re: Very clean swb on CL low miles!!!
I didn't think the NADA price guide varied so much between the 67-72's. That truck probably falls between average and high end, and is still priced a touch higher than their "Max" value. I guess there is no price on beauty. Nice truck, but 20k seems like a tilt/buckets/400ci price.

Re: Very clean swb on CL low miles!!!
I haven't looked, but NADA is probably saying the Max value is $25-30K. And if you are like some collector's, looking for an original survivor truck, the money is to be had.
That is the reason most of use restore these old trucks. 1. cause we enjoy doing it, and 2. we can't afford one of these nice trucks.

Re: Very clean swb on CL low miles!!!
Great Truck.. someone should buy it.. cut the frame.. weld in about a foot or two.. change the axle and front over to 3/4 ton with leafs and make a C-20 long bed out of it.

It's a very nice truck, and there will be a buyer for it I'm sure.

Re: Very clean swb on CL low miles!!!
I'm pretty sure you couldn't run it across Barret Jackson / Mecum and come out with that kind of money (what 16% Pre / Post fees?) To me it looks like someone enherited a truck from their Grandpa or something and they feel like it's worth a mint.

I, myself wouldn't pay that. I can't afford to. But I believe it is worth the money, especially to a collector. That truck is pristine, doesn't look like anything has been hauled in it, and with a buff job I am sure it would shine better than some of our newer paint jobs. Someone definitely had pride in this one over the years.

If I had a crap ton of money I would buy it, but I don't. It is a cool truck though.

Re: Very clean swb on CL low miles!!!
I noticed that it doesn't have any crayon marks on the firewall. Maybe they buffed it? Or its not original paint? I still think it is a great looking truck and would love to have it.

Re: Very clean swb on CL low miles!!!
Unrestored survivors (cars and trucks) are comanding top dollar now days. Like the old saying goes....anyone can restore a truck but they are only original once. If the truck is what the add states i think it would bring $15,000 to $18,000 all day long.

Re: Very clean swb on CL low miles!!!
Call me crazy, but I'm cheap. I wouldn't shell out more than 8K for that. I've seen super nice fully redone trucks for 10-15k I guess if you absolutely had to have an original truck...
I also absolutely do not believe that it is an original paint truck either based on the pics. Not a single scratch in the bed? The engine compartment looks better than it did when they were new...

Re: Very clean swb on CL low miles!!!
Very nice ride but I'm skeptical as well to the originality of the paint and so forth. Too many miles to be that nice without being touched up somewhere along the line IMHO

Re: Very clean swb on CL low miles!!!
I would say the interior of the bed and the engine compartment have definitely been repainted. Exterior might be original paint.

Re: Very clean swb on CL low miles!!!
I see wear and dings on the inside of the bed, it isn't perfect. I believe it to be original paint, but cannot tell for sure from just pics. He states in the ad that the engine was repainted. That truck is a real beauty. The last truck I saw in similar condition sold for $17K to JoesJunk, and I see no reason that this truck would not bring close to the same.
