Is it in the same condition underneath as it is on top? Do you have any pic's? I will check around to see if I can find any trucks that haul between me and you. Any idea what a fair price for hauling might be?

Just wanted to let you know that I am trying to figure-out how to find a trucker to haul this bed to KC for me. If I can find a way to get it, and the underneath looks as good as what I can see of the top-side, you can consider it sold (Bed Only, don't need the tailgate). Also, if anyone has any experience with using truckers and/or knows someone who will haul this for me, please let me know!
Thanks, T |

Got one shipped from him to Kansas for $400 a couple years ago. Trucker was already there and had room and was ready to come back, ottherwise it would have been much higher. If $400 for shipping is a price you can live with, let me know and I will find the info.

Car Haulers
Also look into these small car haulers. They have smaller trucks with cheaper trailers that haul about three cars. They are continuously criss-crossing the US delivering cars.
...and yes it is as nice on the under side. |

Pickmup,
Tell you what, if you could get me an address to send a check, I will go ahead and pay you for the bed ($ 400.00). If you could then sit on it for a little while, I will find a way to get it hauled here. Hopefully, that won't take too long. Yellow Cheyenne, Thanks for suggesting the person who hauled your bed. I would be interested in speaking with this person about arranging shipment to the K.C. area. I would also invite advice as to how to unload the thing easily without damaging it. Anybody? Thanks, TP |

Castiron (Rene) is 1st.
You are 2nd for the TG. It is not perfect, but real close. One small 6" dent inside bottom of gate. |

Castiron: notice your TG is off and ready. Pretty slick sling for beds, huh. This is the third generation...I had to bend a couple before I got to this point.
Bryan: That is your Dana 60 posi under there...getting closer. It is now out and has to be drained, strapped to pallet and delivered to freight lines...soon. Last edited by PICKMUP; 10-15-2003 at 09:51 PM. |

Thanks for the pictures Frank! I have never handled a bed before. How much does it weigh? How many guys do I need to carry it? I was going to try to get 5 or 6 guys to help. I hope that's enough. I can't wait to get it!!

It really amazes me how you find such nice parts in a state where the weather is so hard on sheetmetal. Fair prices for nice stuff, you are the man. Did you sell the blue bed with the nice new floor?

Terry: 5-6 guys can move the bed nicely. It is too much for four.
Joey: I am not shipping an old bumper or hitch. It is not worth the effort or the cost of shipping. These things are everywhere, cheap. You can find one there and save $$$. Rene: I thing you are really going to like this TG. HotRod: Still got that blue/oak/stainless bed. Everybody loves it but no sale yet. Some of this stuff sits around here for months...and I just got another really nice straight one yesterday. Haven't been able to post pics & details yet. I have to get some of this stuff that is sold, packed & shipped before I offer any more!!! |

Hes got a nice place there. I went there to get some parts and its a small gold mine for parts if you have a truck. Also a great guy to deal with.
