Angry Steering column bearing explosion

Hey guys,
So I tried to rebuild my steering column today and when I pulled everything apart the bearings fell out of both the upper and lower bearing rings. The plastic that was holding them in was just destroyed. Question is where do I find new bearings? Here are some pictures of what I have and what I found to replace it. Thing is all I can find is LOWER bearings But no UPPER bearings, Is it the same part? the picture of the replacement part doesn't really look right. Help me out here.

Re: Steering column bearing explosion

Yeah I think they are too but at $42.00 a piece I don't want to risk them being wrong.

Re: Steering column bearing explosion

Run to the local bone yard and mine some from any GM vehicle with a Saginaw steering column, there are millions of them out there. I wouldn't spend $42 for one either.

73-78 Parts Manual Steering Column Bearing Assemblies Section 6.521 http://www.gmpartswiki.com/getpage?pageid=54648

Looks like there are differences depending on options.
