my C10 1970
hello,
I leave in france and would like to present my CHEVY C10 custom. I still have a Mustang V8 automatic gear 2007, and want to give an old brother to her ! it's done now. See some pictures of my "garage"... i would like to change my wheels for Chevy Racing wheels ready to be paint, with center caps Chevrolet and chrome circle. but it's difficult to have information about : size, backspace. my idea is to put 15X7 front with 205/60X15 and 15X8 rear with 255/60X15. what are your suggestions ; it's easy to find with 5 lugs, but mine is with 6 lugs. waiting for your answers thanks |

Re: my C10 1970
precisions :
small block 350 edelbrock equipped, double 4 in 1 exhausts, with gear TH350. runs good but I think that it's a short transmission : 55 miles/h with 2500RPM is it possible to get a longer one ? |

some job on my truck :
1 - change gear's ring and pinion from 3.73 to 3.30 in order to be more usuable on road. 2 - change Boyd's wheels and Grabber tires to 8X15 rally wheels and road tires : 255/60X15 front - 275/60X15 rear. Wheels will be painted red. 3 - repare little issues with headers 4 - change all fluids post pictures next week...

Re: my C10 1970
all has been ordered in USA on Eckler's website.
there are no real french specialist on US parts. there is one in nederland, but never ordered on. it's less expensive to order directly in USA, even regarding over costs like custom and you're sure about availability of what you need, and THAT is important for me !

Re: my C10 1970
just receive my delivery.
it's correct regarding my initial orsder, but 2 articles (of 8) are missing because no longer available. they informed me by mail. I think prices are correct. you can ask for a free catalog, I've got one. Think it's good supplier. Classic industries seems to be nice too with more parts, but never order to them.
