This is the first one I have ever installed, but as I found in general questions and research about 6.5 drop in the back is as low as you can go without modifications. Even at 6" the axle will bottom out on the frame on occasion.
I like a slightly taller tire than a 295/40.. just me. Plus I will be flipping the trailing arm brackets on this truck so I will be around 6.75" drop total. But, my tires will be 'tucked' like I want them. The PB notch looks like it would allow about 2 or maybe 2.5" more room. Im not planning to go that low.. Im looking for handling, a nice pinion angle setup, increased shock travel / function while not bottoming out on every bump. Ride is still important. I want it to drive like a vette.
