Show me your wiring routeing
It's time to start the wiring I could use some ideas.
1. I would like to see as little wiring as possible under hood. 2. How did you guys go from under dash to the rear of truck with out going through the firewall and down. 3. Did most you guys mount the new fuse box in the old location. 4. Getting the wiring to the front turn signals. Thanks for the help post pictures if you have them |

Re: Show me your wiring routeing
I think I mounted my fuse box in the same location but not 100% sure about that. I also put in a differnt gas pedal. I used the old gas pedal hole to bring my harness out to the engine compartment and ran the wires between the headers and engine block, I also have spark plug wires designed to run under the headers. For the headlights, I drilled a hole at the top of where the inner fender bolts up and ran the wires under the left inner fender instead. The hood wires come out from behind that and those are the only ones really can't hide 100%. I relocated my batter to behind the cab so no wires there either. This is my result except that I am not totally finished with it. You can see where the wires come out for the hood lights. I hope to redo the brake lines someday and I still need to run some vaccum lines.

Re: Show me your wiring routeing
Thanks Wood. I will try and get a shot from under the left inner fender. I only wish I had welded in a tube before I painted the inner fenders. I can always epoxy one in to protect the wires or even wire loom.

Re: Show me your wiring routeing
On question #2. I ran the wires to the rear of the truck, down from the fuse panel and under the door sill to the gas tank area. There was already a 1/2" hole there that I dont know if was factory or not, from there followers the frame rail in the factory location.

Re: Show me your wiring routeing
I ran my wires from the fuse box under the fender. My spark plug wires run down the back of the engine and under the headers. i tried to run all my wires from underneath so they would not be seen. i also tried to hide my hoses. my heater and ac hoses run under the fender too. Hope this helps you.
