Replacing rocker panels
I'm replacing the rockers on my 51 and I got the drivers side off and have the new one held in place. It measures out good, fits just like the passengers side and falls in line perfect. I'm just curious if I need to weld it up and run with it or tack it and mount doors...any advice is appreciated.

Re: Replacing rocker panels
You know you want to check it with the doors on, or you wouldn't be asking right? You'll be happier knowing it fits as good as it can.

Re: Replacing rocker panels
It more just seemed right? Are there any panels that rockers can effect the fit of?

Re: Replacing rocker panels
As long as the door opening is still in the same place, it really should be fine, but original fit wasn't great anyway. Only thing that would remotely change is the gap from the bottom of the door to the rocker. The Chinese stamped metal isn't always (ever) identical to the original. Chances are you're fine.
