yes,The HEI dist. and cap are larger than a points dist.
Unless you're going with a conversion type HEI that fits inside or an aftermarket one altogether. Just a thought before you install trans xm and order driveshafts. It's as easy as using the forward holes in your framerail as opposed to the rear ones. T
