Re: how quiet is your truck inside?
Quote:
My lifted K20 Burb really doesn't have wind noise, but does have a lot of tire noise. My lifted K30 is really pretty quiet, just some tire noise and some rattles normal for a truck pushing 35 years old. My little '84 C10 is one noisy SOB. The left vent window has been really noisy for years, just the other day I crammed some sticky-back weatherstripping into it and it made a big difference. But I still hear the exhaust and a ton of road noise. I haven't driven my K5 in so long that I don't remember how noisy it might be.

Re: how quiet is your truck inside?
My K10 was like a torture chamber before I fixed the exhaust. It leaked in probably 1,000,000 places and you couldnt hold a conversation with anyone or talk on the phone. Since I fixed it, it's better now. Haven't really been driving it since it's not inspected and the battery is toast but I put the tail pipes right before the rear tires. SHould be interesting.
No wind noise from the vent windows or the sliding rear window. The only thing you can really hear now is all the unhealthy ticking and the occasional clunking sound coming from the engine

Jimmys
I find the 79 with the rear sides, and cab roof covered quite a bit quieter then the 78 without but two different trucks with two different blocks and mufflers but still would be quieter I'm sure the 79 also has extra foam strip around the door and i can talk hands free in both just one is louder
