Re: HuggerCST's '70 SWB CST build
Hey Wynne, thanks for sharing the great pics!
Just curious what setup you used on your suspension? Btw, I love the tailight gas filler! I assume you have no problem pumping gas into it? thanks |

In the rear I have 4" drop springs. I have some 1/2" lowering blocks that I'm thinking about adding to the rear though. The fuel filler works pretty good, at some pumps I can fill it wide open, and others I have to slow it down, but it only takes 3 or 4 minutes to fill up. I think it's because my filler vent and tank vent isn't quite enough to vent out that much air quick enough. (3/8" fuel lines)

Re: HuggerCST's '70 SWB CST build
I agree, it does look like it has been lowered more than that up front, but I think the springs have settled over the years.

Re: HuggerCST's '70 SWB CST build
I got it from one of the Camaro/Chevelle parts vendors, but I can't remember which one. It's the same as a car kit though.

Thanks for the answers, Brett P.S. Your pickup looks sweet. I was actually going to go with 18's and now after seeing yours I'm thinking about going 17's.... Do u have any thoughts on that?? Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: HuggerCST's '70 SWB CST build
Yes, it should work fine. On the wheels you just have to go with what you like, but I've been considering buying new wheels in the near future, and thinking that I would go with 18s. I also like the 18/20 combo, but it's just personal preference.
