Classicparts woodbed quality

Hey guys,
been searching the forums for the best woodbed kit for price vs quality, and it seems mar k would be the way to go but the shipping to CA adds another $160 to the price! Lmc are bout the same price without the shipping tag, but then I seen classic parts woodbed is $150 cheaper but is cheaper in quality too?
Has anyone seen or installed one there woodbeds?
They seems to have cheaper stuff in most things compared to lmc.

Re: Classicparts woodbed quality

I have seen two of Mar-K bed kits installed and they were very nice and without flaws.

You may look into having a local wood shop cut and finish your wood, it was cheaper for me to have this done years ago when I did mine.

Re: Classicparts woodbed quality

When I went looking for my bedwood, Mar-K had a 10% off with free shipping going on. I didn't think they'd ship 8-foot bedwood to CT for free but they did.

Maybe that'll come around again? Dunno...

Rbar i called local wood guys in Sydney but in Australia its more expensive thanks though.

Mar-K might have been better but don't have the time for the parts to get there before export date.

Don't know if this will help, but I stumbled across it some years back.
