Rusted Frame Question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

My frame has some rust through right on the frame where the crossmember that the drive shaft goes through. I do not want to replace the frame because it was the truck my dad gave me.

I am thinking about POR15 treating and getting metal frame inserts to help give extra support what do you think.

Will try to post pictures later.
