Bucket Seats
Hey guys Ive been browsing the bucket seat options to replace the factory bench. Id like something that had somewhat of a modern vibe, with some hip bolsters so I don't slide around, but also something that wouldn't look out of place. So what kind of bucket seats do you guys have? Please post pics! Thanks!

Re: Bucket Seats
I replaced my bench with a more modern custom leather setup. Check out the link below and best of luck.

Re: Bucket Seats
These came out of a 2000 Chrysler 300M. Leather, Power and Heat. $75 at the local salvage yard.

Re: Bucket Seats
I like the style of the 300 seats, but I think I'd prefer a manual seat without the bells and whistles. And without the head rests.

Re: Bucket Seats
I saw some nice seat at a car show this summer and they came out of a 2002 Silverado. That is the way I am going when I change mine because they have the seat beats as part of the seat. Shoulder and lap

Re: Bucket Seats
Just remember the stock bench seat cab is not reinforced for bucket seats nor the loads of seatbelts/shoulder harnesses intergrated into the seat.

Re: Bucket Seats
I agree on the headrests. They are already out. I was thinking the same about the manual seat, but I wanted the leather. They have a set in another chrysler that are cloth and have the manual track. Easily changed if I need to.

Re: Bucket Seats
Yeah we might get the interior professionally done, not sure yet. We're definitely going to hush mat the whole cab. I did this on our 52 ford and it made a huge difference.

Re: Bucket Seats
i love the 2008 and up seats. i think if you took the headrest off and reworked the top it would look like a modern cst bucket.

Re: Bucket Seats
I havent made a decision myself yet, but----some that I have seen and liked are:
chevy tahoe seats 98 s10 blazer seats 96 buick riviera seats chevy silverado seats the s10 blazer seats and the riviera seats are a little smaller and seem to "fit" better with the size of the 67-72 truck (in my opinion) another choice I have seen and liked was a 2008 ford f 150 bucket. I like the way they look and feel--but they are physically bigger.

Re: Bucket Seats
Love the truck mrhorsepower. I like all the storage those console have, but I kind of want something that flows up to the dash Like the ones from classictruckconsoles.com.

Re: Bucket Seats
I went with Audi A4 seats. got them on craigslist for $75 and had them recovered. 10 way power seats are wonderful when you have a bad back.
