A little of both (I hope)! Who knows, I may fail miserably on both counts. I just started messing with this heap again after a 3 month hiatus, due to me getting incredibly frustrated with anything I tried to accomplish and it being terribly hot all summer here in Arkansas.

I got the door bars in this afternoon. This is the Autoweld 8pt rollbar kit with the 'road race' door bars. I won't be using the rearward bars because of the hassle involved with cutting the back of the cab and it being a pain in the a$$ getting everything fitted in the bed since I am using a wood bed. I also mounted the door bars a little lower that normal since I'm using '72 door panels and had to make sure they would clear. This is my first time doing something like this and it has been a 'challenge' to say the least...

Cool Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Looks good though so far. Did you weld any stiffners on the bottom of the cab?
I understand about the hiatus, it is better to walk away than do something for a quick fix and u regret it later.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Wink Re: What did you do to your truck today!

I've been doing a little work to mine but nothing near what most of you have done.
I installed a S-10 blazer center gear shifter with part of the console. It has cup holders and I mocked up the bottom half myself. Going to take it and have the upholstery shop do the final work on it. It has the indicator lights and backup lights working. It has the electric park solenoid wired to come on when cranked but I have a hidden switch to cut it off when I feel a need to. So no matter what u do it want come out of park unless u crawl under it and unhook the cable.

Me seeing what it would look like. I think carpet would look better than the leather.

Installed the new airbrushed tag I bought at a local craft show today.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

I scored two 1 ton sway bars at the junkyard yesterday. I'm going back tomorrow to get some headers I found but didn't bring enough tools to get.
