Re: Well, I got a dash for my 91...

After rereading this thread i think i sould have added:
1.clean with soap and water. ( i use comet cleaner)
2.wipe the part (in one direction, right to left, or top to bottom, etc. Not in a circle patteren) with nonstatic plastic cleaner.
3.scuff the part with a gray scotch bright pad ( better to see what the adhesion promoter brand reccomends)
4.reclean with nonstatic plastic cleaner. just as in step#2
5.apply adhesion promoter as the directions say.( let it flash, etc)
6.clean by blowing it off and using a tack cloth.
7. apply color(paint) as directions say
8. apply clear as directions say

This is just a general way. Always go by what the products you are using say to do.

I type really slow, so i sometimes make my answers too short and sweet.
