Talking Tilt column cancelling cam horn contact

Putting a '69 'vette steering wheel in my '71 Longhorn with tilt. I'm missing the horn contact and spring that, gos with the cancelling cam to make the horn work. Does anyone out there have a extra one? Or have the whole tilt cancelling cam that they what to sell? Any replies would be great.

Re: Tilt column cancelling cam horn contact

Welcome - recommend take a look/place a wtb ad on the 67-72 parts board if you're a paying member. There are lots of full trucks being parted and some may be able to yank the part you need. I'm also certain LMC sells the cancelling cam for a few bucks - not sure about the spring off the top of my head, but that is porbably available also, if not there, then somewhere.

Cant be to many longhorns running around in Rufus, OR., is this you Mike? Have a look at the below linked thread on this same subject from earlier this year, see post #7 & #13 for part descriptions w/pics, I can set you up with all of it in GM NOS or if you are fine with new repro, I would have it all besides the under cam spring which is not available in repro. Give me a ring and let me know if you want to drop by sometime, Mel.
