slower than i thought

been almost two yeras . what i thought was gonna be aq prime and drive has turned into a huge undertaking, but i just keep pluggin away. i recently sprayd my interior and have began putting her back together.. The only thing is im having a super hard time . i have been cleaning and derusting and painting every little part.. its almost annoying. i mean i just brought down a perfectly good replacement column from my attic, but decided i had to tear it apart to paint and properly place all grommets!!! its like a disease!!!

Re: slower than i thought

Boy, that rings a bell. About 12 years ago I thought Iwould patch the front fenders. Then, while the fenders were off, I decided to get new wheel wells. Since the wheel wells were off, I might as well clean and paint the front frame. Now the engine looks bad, might as well clean it and put some fresh paint on it. Three years later, I was finally driving it again. Kind of scary, because it needs freshened up again........

Agreed. I love to tear them apart and work on them. It takes time and when I get it all put back together I'm bored. I either sell it or find something else to fix/replace on it.

Enjoy it. Nothing wrong with taking your time.
