WIW '71 GMC SWB Fleetside

Planning to sell my truck and trying to figure out a price. It is a 1971GMC SWB fleetside.

Body:
Cab needs corners.
Rockers are screwed on (from PO), need to be welded.
Floor is low hump and perfect other than a quarter-sized spot just below driver side vent.
Bed is mostly rust free (drivers side interior wall where it meets the floor has some rust.) Outside of bed is rust free.
Dog house is from a 68 and rust free (some surface but no cancer)
Checkmate hard bed cover

Drivetrain:
’96 LT-1 out of a Z-28 with 65k miles, headers, 40-series Flowmasters
Street and Performance serpentine belt kit
4L60E rebuilt 1500 miles ago
Be Cool radiator with dual electric fans
Stock 12-bolt rearend, 3.73 open diff, CPP disk brake kit (drilled and slotted rotors)

Chassis:
Intro Pentia 18 x 8 front, 18 x 10 rear with Nitto 555 tires (245 front and 295 rear)
CPP master cylinder with built-in proportioning valve
Front Raybesto drilled and slotted rotors
ECE 2” drop springs and 2.5” drop spindles for 4.5” total drop
Rear Firestone airbags on a Schrader valve
Rock Valley stainless steel 16 gal fuel tank in rear (fill in the bed)
Hidden trailer hitch, receiver behind license plate

Interior:
Steel Horse C5 Corvette style buckets with center console/seat
No Limit dash with Autometer Ultra-light gauges
Ididit tilt column with Rostra cruise control
Grant wood steering wheel
VintageAir air conditioning
Pioneer stereo
12” Kicker speakers in a box behind the seat.

I think that is everything.

i would say a FAIR price would be in the mid 3k's to low 4k's on the left coast.

That is what I was afraid of. Looks like I will keep it or part it out. I have about 3-4 times that much in it.

I would think the LS drivetrain would bump it up quite a bit .

Re: WIW '71 GMC SWB Fleetside

I'm guessing $4500 (?) something like that.

For me, because it's in primer it kinda hurts it a little. People just don't usually like to buy one 'In Primer" because you don't know what's under the primer. Paint it, .. and then you know (??) I don't get it.

Just a satin red ? Black ? paint job .. not saying expensive, just a satin single stage paint job would put it in the $6,000 range IMO. Polish up the Intros, .. $7,000.

It's all about the visual appeal in my opinion. I myself see the work and the parts you have put into it, and I can see where you have more than that invested, but unfortunately it's hard to get that back sometimes.

Just clean it up good would add $500.

I don't mean it to be offensive, just an honest opinion. You asked.
