Re: anyone into amc cars?
Bringing back an old thread.I need to get this thing to my house from mom and dad's to get going again. Dad starts it about every 2 weeks but does not drive it any. He said the other day that he thinks the oil filter is leaking. Need to check that and the sender I think. And new brakes.

Re: anyone into amc cars?
Thanks. In good shape. It is show worthy but is getting pits behind the rear tires. Dad had it painted back in the early 90's but he didn't put the weather strip back around the trunk lip.Needless to say the space between the inner wheel wells and floor of the trunk has never been cleaned out.It is packed full of dirt.

Re: anyone into amc cars?
Looking at the old pic of my AMX always makes me smile because my mom who has now passed loved driving that thing. She was a tiny lady 4'11" and she sat really low lol. I would let her take it for a spin now and then and she would just mash the go pedal =)
There is a 69 or 70 about a block from me. Its been sitting in someones drive way for as long as Ive lived here (8 years?) Its uncovered with the windows rolled down. Ive never bothered to drive over and ask about it. As much fun as I had in my AMX I would probably get another 69 Charger over that.
