power steering shaft end play
So my rig came with power steering. Sometime a previous owner converted it to manual steering leaving a pump on it. I'm putting power back on it.
I notice the power steering pump pulley/shaft has alot of play in it. I was wondering what amount was acceptable?

Yes, its in out play. 1/16 is normal, so I'm guessing if its 1/8'ish, its bad?

Re: power steering shaft end play
Probably not. If it works & the seal is not leaking it will be fine. Those things are pretty trouble free.
