Re: front shock relocate

Depends on what shock you plan on running. The side mounts are definitely easier to install, but require a stud mount shock. The CPP/POL style will require an angle drill and short bit or removal of the cab, but retain use of a stock style shock...

Fwiw, I'm using a set of CPP mounts to accommodate my stock style shocks. Those side mount style are also available from ART or member way2lo2, but PB rocks.

Porterbuilt makes good stuff. I'm running those same Porterbuilt relocators on my truck.

Re: front shock relocate

Not sure what part number they are. Porterbuilt sold me the shocks as well.

FYI, you will have to shave aprx an 1/8" off the sides of the lower ball on the shock in order for it to fit in the mount on the lower control arm. You also need to use a sleeve inside of the ball mount to make the bolt hole smaller, Porterbuilt should provide this.

Re: front shock relocate

Will the inner fender well need to be altered for either one of these relocaters?

Re: front shock relocate

The CPP units will require 1/2" or so removed from the inner fender flange, in my experience.
