Torq Thust 15" to 18"?

Hi everybody,

now i lowered my truck with 4"/6" ECE, and want to have Torq Thrust 2 Wheels in 18".

My Truck has now 8x15 and 10x15, both with 4" backspace and 275/60 15 Tires.
What ist your recommendation and experiance? Who can give me a example about Size, backspace for 18" and tires?
I look around in the forum, but found mostly 20"...

Hi Reiner, welcome to the site.

*What year is your truck? (I'm assuming a '67-'72)
*Fleet side or stepper?
*Do you know what year rear end you have?

As an example: If I were to go 18s on my truck, I'd probably get 18x8 w/ 4-4.5" back spacing with 255/50/18 up front and 18x9.5 w/ about a 5-5.25" backspacing with 275/55/18 out back.

thanks for your reply and your example. :-)
I have a 68 swb fleetside c10.
My father bought him in 1988, the truck was lowered only with shorted coils in that time, but have 5 lugs and Disc Brakes front.

So i dont know what rear end year is has. It´s a 12 Bolt, and i think its the small one from 68, only with 5 lug conversation, because i have 10x15 with 4" backspace rear. And it fits very good.
How can i measure, or identify my rear end to check what year it is?
