Question Smog headers or manifolds 1972 Chevrolet C/10 350 V8 with California Emissions

Replaced the cracked manifolds back in 1990. Put on smog tube adaptable headers. I recently had the engine rebuilt and the headers were warped enough to not work after getting the engine back from the machine shop. I want to keep all of the California Emissions equipment in tact. My parents bought the truck 5/26/72. It was built right at NUMMI in Fremont. I want to keep it as original as possible.

Welcome to the forum. So, is your question where to find replacement smog tubes and related equipment? Or are your tubes good and you're looking for original smog exh manifolds to put back in the place of the headers?

As you continue to browse, you'll discover the parts board - your best chance to find what you need will be there. Requires a paid membership to buy/sell there, but it's worth it. I spent a little time browsing for smog stuff a while back when I was looking at a fremont 72, and it seemed to be pretty hard to come by. 72 CA only = rare.

Welcome to the board. I would throw up a WTB (want to buy) in the parts section.

i'd just take the manifolds you had to a machine shop and have them surfaced

but if they are not that bad try using a set of the dead soft copper gaskets to seal them to the block

but i prefer to repair things not just throw away stuff and be a parts changer

You can purchase off the parts section.
