My door is stuck and I cant get out .

So I recently ask about replacing my hinge pins. I heated them up as 1 member suggested and it literally fell out and as it was heated drove the new one in.
Perfect.
Closed the door and it was lined up but when I open the door it hits the front fender and want open at all. I don't want to mess the body up anymore than I have by trying to pry it open. Any Suggestions ????

Do i need to take the fender off ?

Re: My door is stuck and I cant get out .

AT this point you probably should have loosened the hinges. Too late though (hindsight is always 20/20 ) Best thing to do is either remove your new pins and loosen the hinges prior to reinstall or take all the bolts to the fender loose and realign it if your door looks to be aligned properly. If door looks good then you should realign your fender.Take your time and don't bind that fender against the door.

Roll down the window and just climb in and out! Bo and Luke did it all the time.

Put some body shims between the fender and the body, top and bottom where it bolts to the cab. This will move the fender out far enough for the door to clear.
